Career Coaching for Your Staff

We understand that at certain times in their career, key people in your organisation may find themselves in need of support and guidance.

Corporate HR and Coaching Packages

There are many reasons why organisations may seek to appoint an external coach for their staff:

1) Redundancy:

Career Coaching is often of particular interest to clients who may be required to make certain roles redundant, and are seeking to provide support to employees as they near the end of their employment. Career support for redundancy personnel can include:

- Understanding of current situation
- Identifying possible career options
- Resume writing
- Job Application assistance and strategies
- Interview Coaching

2) Promotion or Demotion/Disciplinary:

Our Corporate HR and Coaching packages also offer support to employees transitioning to middle management or more senior level positions, or conversely can provide assistance where employees have experienced disciplinary or similar action, and require coaching to achieve agreed goals or expectations.

3) Internal Interview Preparation

Some of our clients seek to provide coaching to those applying for internal promotion roles, to better their chance of success and truly get the best out of their people at interview stage.

We work with our coaching participants to understand their individual circumstances, help to identify key strengths and skills, and build their confidence to thoroughly prepare for interviews.

Through our mock interview process, we will work through practice questions that are likely to come up, and support "Coachees" through the tricky questions that can arise from time to time. By attending coaching, clients feel supported, confident and ready for their upcoming interview, no matter the industry or level of role.

4) Achieving goals to align to business strategy

This package best suits those clients who feel their people are not achieving career goals, and seek to support the business and/or their staff in reaching their full potential. Career support includes:

- Understanding of current situation
- Understanding values and belief system
- Identifying "blockers" or fears to achieving goals
- Identifying key strengths and skills, and how to use these to the fullest extent
- Understanding options, navigating the decision making process
- Drafting communications with management and career coaching to prepare for difficult conversations, such as requests to alter working hours or days, requests for periods of parental leave, asking for a pay rise, and other important requests
- Agreeing action plan

5) Management and Supervisory Support

Through this bespoke management level package, "Coachees" will deep dive through each session to understand why they may not be achieving their  goals, and agree a strategic leadership action plan to address issues that may exist in their team or work environment. Through a solution-oriented approach, career support includes:

- Understanding of current situation
- Understanding values and belief system
- Identifying "blockers" or fears to achieving goals or strategic objectives, including dealing with challenging behaviours
- Assessment of current work environment - consideration of leadership models and those which best apply
- Identifying key strengths and skills, and how to use these to the fullest extent
- Understanding options, navigating the decision making process
- Agreeing strategic action plan

6) Return from Maternity Leave

We know that being a Mum can be a tough job, and combining this with further challenges such as sleep deprivation, post natal depression, or extended periods out of the workplace, confidence can be low for some mothers on their return to work.

Some of our clients find that the concept of returning to work can feel overwhelming for some of their key people, and want to support them. Through our guidance, support and assistance, we can help your people to return the workplace, from the point of return (or immediately beforehand) right through to their first few months in the role to ensure success both for the individual and for the business.

 How does it work?

Through online, remote coaching sessions, we work with our coaching clients on a one to one and entirely confidential basis, to understand their current position, tap into key strengths and skills, and tailor our programmes and packages to provide a fresh perspective as well as invaluable tools and techniques to get the best results for the organisation and the individual.

What can a "Coachee" expect from career coaching?
Through all of our coaching programmes, "Coachees" will be held accountable to take action, and while we can provide the tools and resources to fully support them, we would expect those attending coaching to carry through with agreed actions.

As such, participants should be prepared to get the most out of coaching sessions by setting aside time devoted to practicing the techniques we share, or reflecting on the points of discussion.
